The name of the company is Carole Nash Insurance Consultants, Ltd. The company was founded by Carole Nash in 1985, at the beginning, with a £2,500 redundancy cheque. From Carole Nash's home in Timperley, Greater Manchester, the company got its turnover of the company's formation totaled £834 in the first month.
In ten years, Carole Nash motorcycle insurance served 30,000 policy holders, predominantly insuring classic and vintage motorcycles—kind of motorcycle with pride and joy for the owners. The latest decade of the previous century showed a new player among the leaders in the UK motorcycle insurance market.

The company employs around 330 staff across locations in Altrincham and Dublin. They claim to hold about 25% of the UK motorcycle insurance market and 50% of the Irish market.
